ADDITIONAL TERMINAL IN PULKOVO FOR FOOTBALL FANS

The Pulkovo-2 terminal will open in St. Petersburg to serve passengers of charter flights during the FIFA World Cup. This terminal will be used immediately before and after matches. Groups of organized fans arriving and departing on charter flights will pass through it. Since the passengers are fans, it is planned that they will have only carry-on luggage or a minimum of luggage.

The organization of the additional terminal is due to the desire to separate the fans of the rival teams to different terminals to avoid possible incidents. In parallel with the additional terminal, the rest of the airport terminals will continue to operate - the passenger terminal, VIP lounge and a terminal for servicing private aircraft.
